With its poetic portrayal of the emblem of the Swiss mountains, the Alpine Adventure collection celebrates the home of Christian Fischbacher. The vibrant designs pay homage to Alpine flora and fauna, as well as the modern winter sport that has its origins in St. Moritz in the heart of the Engadin valley. With its large-format mountain panorama design, Piz flaunts the striking trio of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau peaks in the Bernese Oberland. At 4,000 metres above sea level, a fascinating Alpine landscape of ice, snow and rock unfolds, which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2001. The spectacular mountain scenery was intricately hand-drawn in pencil and transferred to the finest cotton sateen as a stencil print. From the snow-covered peaks to the shadowy valley, the design encompasses one colour gradient from light to dark. Thanks to the extra-wide pattern repeat of 120 cm, the mountain landscape covers the entire quilt. Our Swiss partner prints the design on our high-quality satin 105, which is woven in the so-called Swiss setting. Thanks to the extraordinary quality of our Supima extra-long staple cotton, which is certified with the swiss+cotton quality seal, the mountain panorama boasts a seductive sheen and an irresistibly silky feel.
