marhaba Lounge, Zurich, Switzerland

Description

A more contemporary design and a better room layout: this is what dnata wanted for its own lounge in the transit area of Zurich Airport. Atelier Estimo Architects then created a cosmopolitan interior design that elegantly combines functionality, guest needs and the CI specifications of the parent company in Dubai. The materials had to take into account both the specified colours and the airport's strict fire protection requirements. Atelier Estimo chose the semi-transparent, floor-to-ceiling leno fabric ATHENS made of 100 % Trevira CS with a natural, almost wool-like feel.
